Other Cats Needing Homes

ARF members and friends are actively rescuing abandoned companion animals.  They are cared for in the
rescuers' homes until a permanent home can be found.  There are also sometimes circumstances that
prevent owners from keeping their beloved pets.  ARF wants to help find these pets new homes.

Although the animals listed on this page are NOT ARF cats, we are happy to help them find a new home.
The information you provide will be posted for 60 days.  It is the responsibility of the owner/rescuer to renew
the listing.  Cats advertised must be spayed or neutered unless not yet of breeding age.

If you are interested in seeing any of these animals listed, please call the number shown.

ARF is not responsible for the cost of vaccinations, spay or neuter or any other costs associated with the animals listed on this web page!

ARF tips on finding a new home for an animal:

  • Send a picture with description to ARF, P.O. Box 3292, Bartlesville, OK 74006 to request a posting on this web
site or send ARF an email.
  • Call ARF at 918-766-0991 and leave a description of the animal with contact name and number, along with
permission to publish on this web site.
  • Post a picture and description at your veterinarian's office.
  • Call KWON 1400AM radio (336-1400) to advertise the animal on Consumer Calls weekday mornings from
    9:10am - 9:30am and Saturdays from 9:10am to Noon.
  • Post a picture and description at your church or work place.

2 Cats
Both around 2 years old (mother and son), born on Custers Ranch, Copan, S/F and N/M, wormed, all shots current, people and kid friendly, vet is Carmen Williamson and she has their medical records.  Would make excellent barn cats.  Barbara Matthews, 532-2039.  (8/23/10)

Calico
"Cookie", a 2 year old S/F Calico, needs new home due to son being allergic.  Very sweet cat that keeps mostly to her self and hides when visitors are around, likes to sleep at the end of the bed but doesn't come up past the foot of the bed, she doesn't get on furniture other than the desk chair and bed to my knowledge and doesn't get on counter tops or tables unless something really good has been left unattended for a while.  Kevinnsarah@cableone.net  (7/2/10)

Declawed

2 declawed S/F cats, 6 & 7 years old.  Caller can no longer care for them and has to move.  Both are Tortie's (one is longhair and one is short).  James Eppler 331-8617  (7/7/10)
Black Cat "Squeaks" with gray undercoat, N/M, 5 years old, declawed on front.  Billy, Skiatook, 850-9058.  (8/28/10)

Orange/White Tabby, S/F, "Odessa", 2 years old, current on shots, declawed on front, friendly, boarded for last 3 months.  Madison Pet Clinic, 333-0247.  (8/18/10)

Egyptian Maui
N/M, tiger-striped, front paws declawed, very loving, has been around small dogs.  Has been an only cat, but owner is remarrying and husband can't be around cats.  Email Sue Smith at suesmith3717@sbcglobal.net.
  (8/29/10)

Gray Cat (Smokey)
Under 6 mos old, with green eyes, Harvard Drive behind East Cross Methodist Church.  Jill Spitzer, 335-9759  (8/29/10)

Kittens
6 kittens about 8 weeks old.  Debra 918-230-8724.  (7/3/10)

Litter of five kittens on the grounds of Phillips Home.  They are five weeks old and all are longhaired.  Two have found homes now and still need homes for three (black, gray).  Kim, 336-2491.  (7/8/10)

2 Black Kittens, 8 weeks old approximately, one male and one female.  Casey, 620-515-2728.  (7/9/10)

2 kittens about 13 weeks old.  Caller had two others but the couple that took them let them outside and the neighbor's Pit Bull killed them both.  918-638-0931.  (7/13/10)

Calico Kitten, 8-9 weeks old.  Amber, Skiatook, 918-361-7295.  (7/19/10)
