Other Cats Needing Homes

ARF members and friends are actively rescuing abandoned companion animals.  They are cared for in the
rescuers' homes until a permanent home can be found.  There are also sometimes circumstances that
prevent owners from keeping their beloved pets.  ARF wants to help find these pets new homes.

Although the animals listed on this page are NOT ARF cats, we are happy to help them find a new home.
The information you provide will be posted for 60 days.  It is the responsibility of the owner/rescuer to renew
the listing.

If you are interested in seeing any of these animals listed, please call the number shown.

ARF is not responsible for the cost of vaccinations, spay or neuter or any other costs associated with the animals listed on this web page!

ARF tips on finding a new home for an animal:

  • Send a picture with description to ARF, P.O. Box 3292, Bartlesville, OK 74006 to request a posting on this web
site or send ARF an email.
  • Call ARF at 918-766-0991 and leave a description of the animal with contact name and number, along with
permission to publish on this web site.
  • Post a picture and description at your veterinarian's office.
  • Call KWON 1400AM radio (336-1400) to advertise the animal on Consumer Calls weekday mornings from
    9:10am - 9:30am and Saturdays from 9:10am to Noon.

Coco

2 - Siamese (above)
ARF received the following email plea 2/26/08 from Rick Heck, 918-630-4544 (cell):

My daughter just moved back into our home to attend school.  She has two cats.  I'm seriously allergic
to cats.  We must find a home for them.  I don't have the heart to force her to take them to the pet shelter
where they put them to sleep if no home is found in three days.  If you, or anyone you know would like
to adopt one or both please let me know ASAP.  Pics are attached.  Both cats are N/M,  2 years old.  They
are litter box trained.  The picture of Coco is as a kitten, I don't have a more recent photo.
  It's at the point
that it's them or me.   All the "no kill" adoption places are at capacity.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
