Home | ARF MEMBERS & VOLUNTEERS Membership to Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Bartlesville can be established by an annual membership fee as shown below or a donation of equivalent value. Members are invited to attend monthly membership meetings, run for office or vote in the annual election of Officers, and receive a seasonal ARF Newsletter. YOU can help us make a difference... We need Members!! It's hard to believe how many lost, abandoned and unwanted animals there are in our area. It takes many people and a lot of effort to rescue and care for these animals.ARF does not have any paid staff. Our team is made up of animal lovers who want to help animals--plain and simple. This is why Animal House is only open a few days a week and someone is not always there to answer the phone. We take turns picking up messages and do the best we can. We need your help. If you see ANYTHING in the following categories that you would enjoy doing for the benefit of the animals we are trying to help, please contact us at 918-766-0991: Cleaning/Maintenance of Animal House--cleaning walls, carpets, windows, laundry and general maintenance. Publicity--making posters showing available ARF animals to distribute around town, place advertisements with local media, etc. Fund Raising--placement/collection of donation banks, grant writing, special events, community booths, t-shirts, gift shop, bake sales, garage sales and more. We need your ideas! Education--raising community awareness and educate on animal care, local animal city ordinances and animal issues associated with ARF. Speaking to local organizations including school age children. RELIABLE Foster Homes--open your heart and home to rescued dogs while waiting for a new home. Needed are homes with fenced yards, shelter, care and a family to love. Transportation--assist in transport of animals to/from foster homes, vet visits and new homes. Special Volunteers--friend for ARF animals who can take the time to love them in place of a full-time owner. Visit Animal House to show ARF animals attention, help feed, and help keep the facility clean. Animal House--Monday through Saturday 1-4pm. With more volunteers we can keep the facility open to the public to adopt out more animals! Everyone is welcome to our monthly membership meetings held every second Thursday of the month.
