ARF Dogs Available for Adoption
ARF animals have been rescued and are currently in foster homes. Until we
have a facility to house our homeless dogs, our volunteers/members are providing
foster homes until new homes can be found. ARF's adoption fee is currently $60.
ARF's adult dogs are spayed or neutered, heartworm checked negative, and have
their rabies vaccinations. ARF's adoption fee of $60 for puppies covers
vaccinations up to time of adoption, as well as the rabies vaccination and
spay/neuter when the dog becomes of age.
If you are interested in viewing, adopting or fostering one of our dogs,
please contact ARF 918-766-0991. We make every effort to ensure our dogs are
adopted into a GOOD home with a fenced yard. Those interested in adoption must visit our facility, complete an Adoption Application (which must be approved
by
ARF officers) and complete a 3-day waiting period is required. References are
required and will be checked.

ARF
is in need of foster homes for ARF's rescued
dogs! If you have a
fenced yard with shade and would like to help, please call ARF at 918-766-0991!

Jasper
Jasper was dumped on a local country road and was rescued by his foster
parents. He is a N/M Australian
Shepherd/Red Heeler Mix, estimated to be 8 months old and weighs under 20
lbs. He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home. His
foster mom says he's already crate trained and housebroken--a very well mannered
pup! He has received vaccinations, heartworm
preventative and flea/tick treatment and is ready to be adopted into his
forever home. If interested in meeting Jasper, please call for an
appointment!

Glover
Glover was rescued during the July '07 flood and was taken to the
WCSPCA. His time was up at the WCSPCA, but a kind-hearted ARF
representative could not bear to see him euthanized and he was placed in a
foster home in ARF's care. He is a medium size Mixed Breed (the vet
guesses Whippet mix), weighs 35 lbs,
N/M and estimated to be 3 years old. He is a
housebroken couch potato, LOVES kids and gets along well with his foster family
dog. He really seemed to like the vet's office cat too! If you would like to meet Glover, please call ARF at 766-0991 to set
up an appointment to meet him.

Star & Dewey
Full-blood Chocoate Labs, Star is a S/F and Dewey is a N/M, both estimated
to be 4-5 years old, current on vaccinations. The get along with cats, as
they both love their kitty Peaches (soon to be posted on ARF Cats page), a
red/white Maine Coon mix now also available for adoption. They have lived
together all their lives altho they are not siblings and they have the same
birthday! This pet family was saddened when their owner went to a nursing
home, and will not be returning home. If adopter takes both of them, they
can adopt Peaches too for FREE! One of the saddest tales is a family torn
apart when the owner cannot return home and has to give up their beloved
pets. The dogs are in foster care together, but Peaches is at our facility
and is missing her home and dog companions fiercely. If interested in
meeting any of them, please call ARF at 766-0991.

Kikko (above left) & Sylo (above right) - ADOPTED!!
These male pups showed up as strays and are estimated to be 10 wks old as of
2/26/08 and look to be Golden Retriever mixes with big feet! They have
received their first set of puppy shots, have been wormed and are on heartworm
preventative. They are very active and all puppies! They are
currently in foster care with Glover's new foster family. If you would
like to meet them, call ARF at 766-0991 to set up an appointment.

Blackie
ADOPTED!!
Blackie is a N/M black/white
Pomeranian that has spent the 4 or 5 years of his little life living
outside. He is not housebroken and still needs to be neutered.
His owners no longer want him. He is currently being fostered by his
caregiver at a local kennel and has proved himself to be a sweetheart.
His foster mom is working with him on being an inside dog. Please
call ARF if interested in meeting Blackie. |
Midnight - ADOPTED!!
Midnight is 5 yr old N/M small black Lab mix. He's been adopted into
a couple of homes, but things came up that prevented the families from keeping him--no fault of
his! He has a gentle personality, smiles a lot and is
housebroken. Midnight loves kids, other dogs and doesn't mind cats hanging
around either. If you'd like to meet Midnight, please call ARF to set up
an appointment to meet him.
