 Adoption Requirements

• Visit ARF's Animal House to complete an Adoption Application

• 3-day waiting period

• Signed Adoption Agreement

• $60 adoption fee

Your adoption application will be reviewed by ARF Officers.  Once the application is approved, there will be a 3-day waiting period.  This gives you time to prepare for your new family member to come home.  For dogs/puppies you will will need a dog house or dog bed, food/water dishes, food, treats, collar, ID tag and leash.  For cats you will need a litter box, litter, food/water dishes, food, treats, collar and ID tag.  You will also need an appropriate size of pet carrier to bring your new pet home and for future vet visits or emergencies.  The 3 days gives you time to prepare as well as adjust to the commitment of giving a rescued animal a permanent home.

ALL ARF RESCUES ARE REQUIRED TO BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED PRIOR TO ADOPTION.  THIS INCLUDES ALL KITTENS AND PUPPIES--NO EXCEPTIONS.
